Nerf Camp
is a 4 hour experience where we play nerf, Fortnite style in addition to playing and exploring our whole venue! Jumping, ziplining, mini - golf, and more!

Stimulate your kid in a new way
Today's kid lacks the social skills needed to function properly. We'll get your kid out of their shell, communicate, and have loads of fun.
Your kid will learn:
- teamwork

We'll play Real Life Fortnite! Fort building will be part of the actual strategy in some of our games!

River City Adventure Park is located right outside of Caruthersville, MO but our Nerf Cadets are from all over the area.
Dyersburg, Portageville, Cooter, Caruthersville, Hayti, Blytheville, Kennett, Steele and other surrounding locations.

Calling all Cadets!
Do you think you have what it takes to survive our NERF ACADEMY?
We'll train you to survive our Battle Royale. Cadets will go through target practice, tactical training, etc. Cadets will devise defensive and offensive strategies which require building real life forts to help protect their team!
These Special assignments require teamwork, leadership, communication and critical thinking skills.

- Do I just drop my kid off or can I stay?
You are more than welcome to stay the duration of the camp OR drop your kid off and pick up.
- How long does the event last?
Kids are dropped off between 8:45 - 9am and picked up by 1pm.
- How will my kid stay cool?
Kids will be given breaks to hydrate and cool down after each game. We will have water and Gatorade on site at no charge but please bring your own personal bottle as well. We also have an air conditioned building which is small but is capable of holding groups of kids that need to cool down.
Your kid's safety is our priority. There will be 5-6 staff members watching them during the camp. You are more than welcome to come tour our venue before hand, meet our staff, and stay during the camp if you'd like. We want you to feel comfortable with your child joining our camp.

Hi! My name is Jimmy Jackson and I'm the owner of River City Adventure Park. I am a father of four. My younger children will also be participating in Nerf Camp. They love it!
Most people know me from being a football player. I played football at the University of Missouri from 2004-2008. Now I live in Caruthersville Missouri where I have taught, coached, and been a small business owner for years. Your kid is in good hands we have several teachers on staff as well as ex military staff members. Nerf Camp will be something your kids will talk about for a long time.
There is nothing like it in our area!

Let's make the outdoors fun again!
Our mission is to get kids back OUTSIDE! Scientific studies have proved their are endless health benefits to being outside. Reduced symptoms of ADHD, fights obesity, mypopia, and vitamin D deficiency to name a few. Research also suggest that time spent in nature may improve social bonding, reduce violence, stimulate creativity and serve as a buffer to toxic stress, depression, and anxiety.
If you think about this it makes sense as we often use nature as a place to getaway, relax, stimulate ideas, calm down, etc.
Ironically, Studies have also shown that we spend over 90% of our time indoors, either in a building or car. We have ditched our natural playground for an artificial one. We live through our electronic devices now. We know that if we allowed it our children would stay on their ipads and phones the whole day.
How do we fix this? We make being outside COOL again. We make being outdoors FUN again. Come join our camp and let's make being outside a blast.
